I have been holed in my basement for days!
Crafting away like a crafting fool!
I am getting ready for my next home sale
This time, I am trying to have more items that are handmade, something that can’t (hopefully) be found in HomeGoods or Christmas Tree Shops (which we just had move into our town).
I have been working by Holiday and I have made it through Halloween and Fall / Thanksgiving. Up next, a little bit of Christmas.
So, I thought I would share with you some of the projects I have been working on.
Above, is a collage of all the Halloween projects and I thought I would highlight one at a time.
Tonight, I begin with the all black wreath.
I wish I could tell you that I have a full blown tutorial for you, but I was so focused on getting things done I passed on detail photos of the process.
However, this one is pretty easy peasy, so no worries!
I started with a basic 14”wreath form and wrapped it in overlapped black ribbon till the whole wreath was covered in black.
Then I wrapped the spider web ribbon evenly spaced around the wreath and then attached at top for the hanger. I used some pins behind the loop to hold it in really strong.
Then I just began layering.
I began with some fabric flowers with sparkly button centers. I used the tutorial from Jones Design Company to make the flowers.
I used black feathers and pieces off black flower picks to get the sparkly leaves and the branch like pieces.
Then I simply added the rat (the purple eyes are made with glitter glue) and the sparkly spider.
See, just like I said, easy peasy!
For the first time in quite a while, I will be sharing with some of the link parties that you can find here as well as The Fall Nesting Party at The Inspired Room.
Thanks so much for reading!
