A Year In Mantels

Sometimes time goes so fast that I am always looking for something tangible to mark the time.

So, since so many of us seem to be in a mantel mood getting ourselves ready for fall, I thought this seemed like a good time to review my past year of blogging about my mantel

mantelcollagefinal1 300x300 A Year In Mantels My Halloween Mantel last year was one of my first “blog” projects that I shared so it seems only fitting since I just came up on my 1 Year Blogaversary.

Fall Mantel 2011

I think I will be leaving this up right through the fall instead of changing from Halloween to Fall, I think it works for both.

So, now I begin dreaming of Christmas…

I am thinking a Rustic Winter Wonderland with lots of Tartan Plaids…

But we will see where it ends up!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

  7. I found your blog from The Stories of A to Z’s feature. Oh my gosh, I loved your mantel that she showed, then came here and found this post with several amazing mantels! You are so talented. I especially love the one with the topiaries and the one with the starfish.

    Have a great day.

This is sure an enjoyable post..how did you find all those neat things to make each look? Looks like none were real expensive but they really do change the looks..Where do you store all these things after you change to another look? That would be my biggest challenge. We downsized 7 yrs. ago and lack of storage space is a big problem. No attic or basement and the garage houses two vehicles, a workshop and all our tools, and garden equipment/tools, plus a small freezer. One of my goals this summer is to go through that garage and get rid of some things that we no longer use. When we moved here, we downsized and got rid of so much, not we have built it back up again. Entertainment supples(dishes, crystal, etc) were replaced. It’s too cold to work in the garage now, so this project will have to wait till warmer weather!

  10. Piece of writing writing is also a excitement, if you be familiar with afterward you can write or else it is complicated to write.
