Or you are looking for one last project idea.

If you need something simple and festive for your table – head to the grocery store, which you are probably already doing anyway!

The grocery stores tend to have very nice options this time of year with lots of pretty and yummy smelling greens.

Layer the greens and the flowers into simple containers – I used mason jars and a small ironstone pitcher.

When everything is in and fluffed, simply add some candy canes – and you are done!

  1. So pretty and the candy canes are the perfect addition. I love flowers at Christmas too. Wishing you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas.

  3. I was at the Supermarket this morning looking at the flowers. Something about them didn’t feel quite right and, at this point, I have no creativity left so I didn’t buy any. If only I’d seen this first… but there is no way I’ve braving the crowds again. Merry Christmas!

  4. Very pretty Laura!

    Merry Christmas!

    Dear Laura,

Lovely arrangement. I especially like the candy cane tree. Is that new? Is it real? Love it.
