One More Week

Anyone ever see the movie Blazing Saddles?

Do you remember that line: “I’m so tie-wed, I need some wed woses”.

I need me some wed woses.

Not trying to be a whiny pants, but I am not gonna lie, feeling a little whiny.

It is one week till my Home & Harvest Sale.

Everything that is going to be made, painted, created and priced is made painted, created and priced.

Everything else I will have to just let go.

Tomorrow, I begin set –up.

Then, there is hopefully time for final zhushing, photographing, and maybe a little zhushing of myself.

I am not gonna lie, I am a hot mess.

Since the girls have gone back to school, all waking hours that don’t involve commitments to them, have been put to preparations for this sale.

My family has been very patient with crappy meals.

My Mom and my sister have given up their own personal time to come and help me pull it all together.

I am not gonna lie, my Mom can clean my house like I probably never will.

It is amazing how great things look when they are really clean.

Thanks Mom!

There have been moments when I find myself being distracted by the TV or that addictive Pinterest, or others things that are not a priority right now.

But, one phrase keeps running through my head, so I though I would share it with you.

Maybe, it will help you in a moment of lack of focus!

Wishing all of you a great night and, wow, the weekend isn’t too far away also, so wishing you a great weekend as well!

  2. Believe me I know how you feel! I somewhat got caught up this week, BUT have not gotten my fall decor out which is just killin me. The last 2 days I have spent at a HUGE flea market looking for products and ideas, tomorrow a day with just dad and I and then back to work! I keep telling myself, it’s for a purpose. I wish you the best of luck… no I don’t I wish even a thimble of work you have put into this will be repaid ten fold! Can’t wait to see and hear about it!

  3. Just found you, and wanted to wish you luck. Now next time you see my name, I’ll have my maiden name attached (Pruitt) as tomorrow is my final divorce hearing. Moving out of state in a few weeks. A hectic time. But I was messing around and stumbled on your blog. Very impressive, I must say!
