Just a quick share of our kitchen this Christmas..
Our precious hand artwork from the preschool years.
A few from the family room…
The glass and metal table is from Pottery Barn, but I actually found it at an estate sale. I usually try to do a more elaborate drawing on the chalkboard – but it is time consuming, so I decided to just go with what was quick and easy. I also have my collection of vintage ceramic light up trees. Both my Mom and Grandma had them out when I was a kid – they each made theirs, it was always a favorite.
I kept things simple, just adding a few green elements.
I added some felt ribbon found at Michael’s on the shelves of the hutch and added some green stars and moss birds. It works well with our collection of Liberty Blue and Friendly Village transferware.
I recently had a shelf added above the stove and I added some small ironstone pieces, some more green stars and birds and some greenery.
I always have my blue canning jars on the window shelf and also added green stars there.
